PUBLIC NOTICE
CHANGE ORDERS EXCEEDING 20%
The Board of County Commissioners of the County of Cumberland has approved the following change order(s) on October 27, 2026, which increased the original contract amount in excess of twenty percent (20%).
Change Order No. 1 to Specifications for the Replacement of Structure 06HO-001, Friesburg Road (CR 640) Over Cohansey River, Hopewell and Upper Deerfield, New Jersey; Bid #25-22; awarded to South State, Inc., PO Box 68, Bridgeton, New Jersey 08302; approved June 24, 2025; this change order increased the original contract amount of $2,278,771.65 by $582,285.21, or approximately 25.55% for a new contract sum of $2,861,056.86. Change order is required to revise contract items for actual as-built quantities.
Change Order No. 1 to Competitive Contracting – Providing Various Youth Services for the Cumberland County Youth Services Advisory Council; RFP # 24-10 (2nd Renewal); awarded to Girl Scouts of Central & Southern NJ, 40 Brace Road, Cherry Hill, New Jersey 08034; approved March 26, 2024; this change order increased the original contract amount of $24,510.00 by $6,660.00, or approximately 21.17% for a new contract sum of $31,170.00. Change order is required to better serve Cumberland County youth who are involved, or at risk of involvement, with the juvenile justice system and to spend down the allocated funding.
Change Order # 2 to the Competitive Contracting – Providing Various Youth Services for the Cumberland County Youth Services Advisory Council; RFP # 24-10 (2nd Renewal); awarded to United Advocacy Group, 40 East Commerce Street, PO Box 9, Bridgeton, New Jersey 08302; approved March 26, 2024; this change order increased the original contract amount of $30,000.00 by $34,000.00, or approximately 113.33% for a new contract sum of $74,000.00 (which had been increased by a previous change order by $10,000.00) (where the sum of all change orders result in an increase of 146.67%). This change order is required to better serve Cumberland County youth who are involved, or at risk of involvement, with the juvenile justice system and to spend down the allocated funding.
