Car Seat Safety Day

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Department and Millville Target will be hosting a Car Seat Safety Day on Saturday, September 25th, 2010 located at the Millville Target from 10am until 3pm. Certified technicians from the Sheriff's Department will be available to inspect and verify your child seat installation.

The Sheriff's Officers will be performing car seat checks and will be giving installation instructions -free of charge- to all those interested. While 96 percent of parents and caregivers believe their child safety seats are installed correctly, research shows that seven out of 10 children are improperly restrained. Come out and have your child seat checked, it could save your child's life someday.
