Women Veterans Invited To Hear “An Army Nurse’s Story”
Women veterans from across the region are invited to a special luncheon this week featuring a keynote address by Cumberland County’s Director of Veterans Affairs and Interment.
The event, organized by the VA Medical Center in Wilmington, will be held Thursday, June 16th at the NJ Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland.
Diana Pitman, a retired army captain and registered nurse will deliver a talk entitled, “An Army Nurse’s Story.” During her military career, Pitman served as an emergency room and critical care transport nurse and a trauma nurse in the Army Nurse Corps.
