Cumberland County Library Children’s Magic Show and Reading Program
Tuesday, November 27th at 6:30pm the Cumberland County Library presents Brian Richards! Brian Richards has been performing his educational magic shows and workshops throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware for over 20 years! Mr. Richards developed his interest in magic at the age of 6 and performed his first professional show when he was 10 years old! He was the youngest magician to ever be asked to lecture for the International Brotherhood of Magicians. He has won many awards. Among others, he has won: Best Comic Magician by the Society of American Magicians and Best Performer by the Philadelphia Society of Family Entertainers. He now performs over 300 shows a year!
“His shows are designed to tickle the imagination, highlight the fun of reading, and encourage readers to explore the library.” He is a comedic magician who uses comedy to enhance the experience of his magic shows. While visiting the library, he will explore the magic of reading. He uses magic, comedy, story-telling, and audience participation to encourage children to read. Miss Melody will provide a snack and the kids will have a blast with Mr. Richards! You do not want to miss this opportunity to meet Mr. Richards and share in the fun at the Cumberland County Library!
