Cumberland County Library Children’s Reading Program
Tuesday, January 29th at 6:30pm the Cumberland County Library will be welcoming Mark Anderson to the Children’s Reading Program. Mr. Anderson is the Community Justice Coordinator with the Prosecutor’s office. He will be speaking with the children and their parents about bullying. All this month, the reading program has been addressing bullying. Children learned what a bully is and the different roles that a bystander could play. The children participated in skits that gave them practice in the different ways they could respond to a bully. Other discussions included feelings and friendship. Mr. Anderson will end the month with his discussion. All are welcome to join. Snacks will be provided.
