7/30/2013 - Otto and Bob story and craft at County Library

Cumberland County Library Children’s Program

Monday, August 5th at 1:30pm Miss Melody will be reading Bob and Otto by Robert O. Bruel. Bob and Otto are best friends. Bob is a caterpillar and Otto is a worm. They spent every day together until Bob decided he needed to climb a tree. After many days and nights, Bob became a butterfly and Otto did his worm work. When they reunite, Bob helps Otto see how important Otto’s work as a worm is and always will be. After the story, children will make a worm pet out of paper cups, construction paper, and pipe cleaners. A fun game will be played using cooked spaghetti! Weekly prizes will be given to the children who bring in their reading logs. It is never too late to participate in the summer reading program! Come in and have fun reading! Programs are free and open to the public.

Cumberland County Library is located at 800 E. Commerce St. (Route 49), Bridgeton, NJ.  Call 856-453-2210 ext. 101 for further information.
