FRIENDS OF CUMBERLAND COUNTY LIBRARY MEET AGAIN IN SEPTEMBER
The Friends of the Cumberland County Library will be meeting again on Monday, September 9, 6 pm in the library at 800 East Commerce Street, Bridgeton (856-453-2210).
The Friends group started its membership campaign at the library’s 50th Anniversary event in July and is still looking for other members of the community to support the library by joining up.
Membership categories are:
Individual $10.00 Senior Citizen (60+) or Student (18 & under) $5.00
Family $15.00 Corporate $100.
The Friends of Cumberland County Library help to make the community aware of the numerous library services available to them, promote volunteer activities, sponsor community events, and advocate for their library.
There are many ways to participate in the Friends organization. The first is by becoming its newest member. There are also committees that serve special functions and employ the skills of the member volunteers. The Membership Committee is joined by the Public Relations Committee and Fundraising Committee in supporting the library. Members also serve on the Board of Directors and as Officers of the Board.
