Movie Night at Cumberland County Library

Cumberland County Library is hosting its monthly Movie Night on Monday, February 9. Showtime is 5:30 PM in the library meeting room on the lower level.

The feature is a classic film following a group of German schoolboys, talked into enlisting at the beginning of World War I by their teacher. The story is told entirely through the experiences of the young German recruits and highlights the tragedy of war through the eyes of individuals. The film won a Best Picture Oscar for 1929-30 and is based on the classic novel by Erich Maria Remarque.

Admission is free for all ages. Soda will also be available for free. Cumberland County Library is located at 800 E. Commerce St. (State Route 49) in Bridgeton. For more information, please contact the library at (856) 453-2210, extension 103.
