Celebrating
Black History Month at Cumberland County Library
As part of its celebration
of Black History Month, Cumberland County Library is pleased to host a
photograph collection entitled “Along the Way” by Ronald Gould. Mr. Gould is a
lifelong resident of Bridgeton, NJ and has been taking photographs since he
bought his first camera at age 19. Photography quickly became not only his
favorite hobby, but also a true passion.
His photographs reflect his
lifelong goal to “find splendor and encourage appreciation in all that we see.”
Mr. Gould has traveled the Eastern Seaboard, Canada and Jamaica with his camera
taking photographs. He has pursued his passion and has honed his craft by
completing the popular National Geographic Fundamentals of Photography and
Masters of Photography Courses.
The photographic collection
will be on display all hours the library is open in the exhibit case on the
main floor. Cumberland County Library is located at 800 E. Commerce Street,
Bridgeton, NJ 08302. For more information and hours, please contact Linda at
