Cumberland County Board of Agriculture Presents
A Command Performance of the film
“Farmland”
Vineland – The Cumberland County Board of Agriculture is pleased to present a second opportunity to see the film Farmland, a film by Academy Award Winner James Moll. Through the intimate portrayal of six young farmers and ranchers, this documentary explores the realities of modern agriculture and how our food is grown and raised.
The film first debuted on Saturday evening February 21, 2015 at Cumberland County College. Approximately 200 patrons enjoyed a reception and the film screening on what can be considered a snowy evening. As a result of the inclement weather, the Board of Agriculture is happy to offer a second opportunity to see the film on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 7:30 PM in the Frank Guaracini Jr. Fine and Performing Arts Center. This second showing is open seating and will be offered at no cost to the public. For questions please call 856-451-2800.
Since Agriculture is one of Cumberland County’s top industries, this film really hits home with our community and provides a perspective on food production that possibly many of us have not considered prior to seeing this movie.
