Duties:   Reports to the County Administrator; provides leadership in the development and implementation of programs and services; coordinates community resources and services relating to client concerns; maintains liaison with agencies and organizations; plans, arranges funding and administers programs and services; maintains awareness and expertise regarding available resources and emerging industry trends; consults with, advises and provides professional assistance to community organizations and residents in understanding applicable rules, regulations and benefits; maintains listings of available resources and services; assembles, disseminates and publicizes relevant information to stakeholders and general audiences; assesses departmental and community services to identify gaps and develop solutions; promotes public relations and awareness by speaking before civic and community groups and implementing educational programs; related duties as assigned.

Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree.  Three years of paid or volunteer experience working with older and/or disabled and/or homeless persons.  Strong knowledge of resources, regulations and agencies which support older, disabled and homeless populations. Strong communication skills.  Supervisory experience.   Computer literacy.
