Duties:          

Under direction, supervises and coordinates the activities involved in scheduling the use, assignment, and maintenance of the Public Works Fleet.

 Also, is responsible for ordering all supplies, parts, tools and equipment necessary for the fleet and assisting in the preparation of technical specifications for the purchase or lease of vehicles and equipment, including heavy equipment, utilized by the county; does related duties as required.   

Requirements:   

Three (3) years of experience in managing a large scale fleet of motor vehicles that entails responsibility for the maintenance and servicing of vehicles, as well as the leasing or assignment of vehicles to individuals. 

Possession of a driver’s license valid in New Jersey.
