NJLINCS COVID-19 COORDINATOR
NJ Civil Service Unclassified Position
Salary Range: TBD


DUTIES: Under direction, plans, organizes and coordinates COVID-related work at NJLINCS/Local Health Department (LHD) within their jurisdiction and, in collaboration with Health Officers, serves as the main liaison to the New Jersey Department of Health (DOH) and DOH Regional Coordinators; supervises public health programs, activities and staff; performs other related duties as required. 
     *This is a grant-funded position; position may be eliminated if grant funds become unavailable.

REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or university
with a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Social Work, or other closely related field of study.
     
EXPERIENCE:  One (1) year of professional, supervisory experience in planning, implementing and/or coordinating program activities in a public health agency, which shall have included leading a program or project team and grant management work such as writing grant reports, monitoring grant budgets and communicating with grant officers.
*A degree in nursing a plus, but not required.

LICENSE:    Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license in New  Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is 
necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

Note:  Offers of employment for this title are contingent upon successful completion of physical fitness testing, to include drug screenings, and criminal background checks.
