Salary: $26,230


Definition:
Under close supervision, performs routine, repetitive clerical work involving the processing of documents in a variety of functions. 

Examples of Work:
Reviews, sorts, and routes incoming correspondence and prepares letters on routine matters which may not be signed or reviewed by the administrative official entailing a comprehensive knowledge of division programs, objectives, standards, policies, and procedures.
Sees that pertinent material is obtained from files and other sources, arranges it in a usable form, and prepares memoranda and summaries as required.
May provide information to those requesting it, including department personnel, representatives of state, local, and other organizations, and agencies, and to the public in accord with established policy.
Performs other related job duties as assigned.

Knowledge:
Communicate effectively and professionally
Knowledge of modern office methods to include experience with email and Microsoft Office products. 
Excellent organizational, analytical, and data entry skills 
Knowledge of office routines, procedures, and practices, and their application to specific situations
Ability to type accurate correspondence and reports

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.

LICENSE:
Appointees will be required to possess a driver’s license valid in New Jersey

Note:
