Starting Salary: $35,000 – 39,000.00 based on experience
Duties: Under the direction of a professional librarian, takes the lead in organizing and implementing the technical or public service aspects of one or more library programs such as the development and coordination of events, patron services or collection management. Does other related work as required.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree. Ability to effectively read, write, speak and understand English. Bilingual preferred. Possess an understanding of computers and the internet, with proficiency in internet search techniques. Experience with email account creation and usage. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Microsoft Windows operating systems. Familiarity with career guidance, job seeking procedures, and resume formation.
Hours: Full-Time, 35 hours per week. Some evenings and every third Saturday required.
Note: Offers of employment for this title are contingent upon successful completion of physical fitness testing, to include drug screenings, and criminal background checks.
