Duties: Reports to the Director of the Department of Veterans Affairs.  Under direction, performs a variety of clerical duties including the processing of interments for scheduling, plot assignments, interment forms, interacts with funeral homes and vault company, recording of interments, typing basic reports and burial transit certificated, filing of pre-registration packets, assisting veterans in the submission of paperwork, including cemetery pre-registration, copies of client medical records, forms, and VA decisions.  Does other related work as required, such as organizing filing systems, answering telephones, and assisting in special projects. 

Requirements: Will be entrusted to work with sensitive and confidential information. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with the public and coworkers.  Knowledge of modern office methods including email and Microsoft Office 365 applications.  Critical thinking and the ability to analyze information, Good organizational and time management skills.  Highschool diploma, or equivalent.  Bilingual preferred.

Hours: 29 hours per week, Monday through Friday
