NJLINCS COVID-19 Data Manager/Epidemiologist
Salary Range: TBD


Duties: Under direction, provides data management and epidemiological support to all local Health departments (LHDs) and contact tracing teams within the NJLINCS jurisdiction; analyzes and reports COVID-related data to local, county, regional, and state partners for use in COVID-related planning, response, and evaluation initiatives; performs other related duties as required.
*This is a grant-funded position; position may be eliminated if grant funds become unavailable.


Requirements:

EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master’s Degree in public health or related field, preferably with a focus in epidemiology, biostatistics, or quantitative analysis.

EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of professional experience as an epidemiologist or professional experience in data management and/or data analysis. 

LICENSE: Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

Note:  Offers of employment for this title are contingent upon successful completion of physical fitness testing, to include drug screenings, and criminal background checks.
