Duties: Reports to the Nutrition Programs for the Elderly Division Head; under direction, supervises the operation of a lunchtime nutrition program for senior citizens at a congregate meal site; responsible for collecting meal donations/payments; prepares or supervises the preparation of an orderly, attractive, and sanitary congregate meal site for use in feeding and other program related activities; responsible for ordering meals for daily consumption; conducts interviews of program participants to complete program in-take forms for reporting purposes; works to promote increased participation and activities at the site; does related work as required.

Requirements:
One (1) year of supervisory experience in a cafeteria, food service or dining room facility.  Appointees will be required to possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license.  

Knowledge: Appointee should have knowledge of: principles and practices involved in supervising a food service facility; methods and procedures used to establish, maintain and control food service; knowledge of special programs and problems pertaining to food service; ability to see that desired objectives are achieved; ability to establish and maintain good employee and client relationships; ability of read, write, speak understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position. 

Hours:
3 hours per day; 15 hours per week
