Salary: $41,757 or $42,757 Bilingual
Provisional, Pending Civil Service Procedures
Duties: Under supervision, performs the field and office work involved with the collection, recording, and evaluation of data, to include the employability, the medical status, and the physical or mental health of applicants/clients, for the purpose of determining applicants’/clients’ eligibility for programs and services; provides information to families and individuals to achieve self-sufficiency through employment opportunities and/or child support services, and other related work.
Requirements: Sixty (60) semester credit hours from an accredited college or university; ability to read, write, speak, and understand or otherwise communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position. Ability to utilize a computer and other office equipment with particular emphasis on Microsoft Office software. Possession of a valid New Jersey driver’s license is required.
Hours: Thirty-five (35) hour per week; Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
Note: Offers of employment for this title are contingent upon successful completion of physical fitness testing that includes drug screening. Must pass Civil Service test for permanent status; must pass language test for Bilingual status.
