• Assists in preparation of CCDOC Annual Budget and in the drafting of proposed ordinances and/or resolutions.
• Perform all aspects of purchasing, including, but not limited to, working with administration in preparation of bids, obtaining quotes, processing requisitions and purchase orders.
• Checking and disseminating goods received.
• Processing bail and child support payments.
• Manages all incarcerated persons’ financial accounts, tracking deposits, expenditures and providing account balance funds at the time of IP release.
• Collects and analyzes data needed as a basis for administrative decisions in addition to performing general administrative clerical and related work.
• Storage of records as per the NJ and County Record Retention Schedule.
• Work with the County Finance Department in tracking Grant expenditures.
• Serves as a back up to the CCDOC payroll support personnel.
• Participating in special projects or assignments as necessary.
Requirements:
• Ability to organize assigned technical tasks and to develop effective work methods.
• Ability to talk with public officials, contractors, and employees and resolve issues.
• Ability to prepare routine correspondence.
• Ability to maintain essential records and files.
• Five (5) years of professional experience. Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
Hours: Full-time, day shift, Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week. Overtime may be required as necessary.
Note: Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of physical fitness testing and drug screening.
