Still Time to Register for Annual Older Americans Art Exhibit & Competition

There is still time for County artists age 60 and over to register their artwork in the 37th Annual Cumberland County Older Americans Art Exhibit and Competition. The show is open to both professional and non-professional artists and will feature 11 different categories of competition.

Artwork should be registered by Friday, June 3rd, to be included in the exhibit. The show will be on public display from June 30 through July 28, 2011, in the Doris Tripp Room of the Vineland Public Library, 1058 E. An opening reception for the artists will take place on Thursday, June 30 at 2 p.m.

First place winners are eligible to advance to the State Competition at Meadow Lakes in East Windsor, N.J., which will be on public exhibit from September 26 to October 27, 2011, with a closing reception and awards ceremony for the artists on Friday, October 28.
