3/1/2012 - Spring Events on Tap for Seniors and Disabled

The Cumberland Mall will hold two events this spring in coordination with the Cumberland County Office on Aging & Disabled:

A Senior Citizen Information Expo will be held on Friday, May 11th from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and will feature information and resource materials provided by the County Office on Aging & Disabled, as well as various other non-profit agencies in the community who offer programs and services to senior citizen and disabled residents.   Non-profit organizations wishing to participate should contact Melissa Clifton at the Cumberland County Office on Aging & Disabled at (856) 453-2220 to reserve an exhibit table no later than Friday, April 13th.

The Annual Spring Senior Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, May 12th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will feature various crafts, holiday decorations, hand-sewn and crocheted items, flower arrangements, jewelry, etc., all handmade by area senior and/or disabled residents.  Crafters age 55 & older or disabled may register for a craft table by calling Melissa Clifton at the Cumberland County Office on Aging at (856) 453-2220.  There is no cost for table space.  Space may be limited; early registration is recommended.
