Improvements on Mauricetown Causeway Road

Improvement work begins Tuesday, March 6th on Mauricetown Causeway Road (CR 670) in Maurice River Township – part of a project that will eventually include a stretch of Buckshutem Road through Commercial Township and into Millville.
The paving and drainage pipe replacement are part of a series of road improvement projects scheduled throughout Cumberland County in 2012.
The first phase of work will begin on Mauricetown Causeway Road at State Highway 47 and across the Mauricetown Bridge. A subsequent phase will progress onto Buckshutem Road and continue west through the intersection with Cedar Street (CR 610) in Millville.
All roads will remain open to traffic throughout the project with traffic flow controlled by flagmen. The cost of the project is fully funded through federal highway funds.
