Dear Local Government Entity Representative:

You will find with this communication a copy of Local Finance Notice 2014-7 containing FDS filing instructions for local government officers. We know that some of you have completed your rosters and are anxious to distribute the notice, although many of you are likely still creating your rosters. Nonetheless, we respectfully request that you voluntarily help us stagger the distribution of the local finance notice to your LGOs so that: (1) a rush of filings is avoided that could impact seamless filings; and (2) we can more timely and reasonably provide the necessary technical support to resolve any issues that may arise among a portion of the tens of thousands of filers.

Therefore, we ask that, if your local government entity begins with one of the following letters, that you distribute the local finance notice pursuant to the stated schedule.

A-F Distribute on or around Wednesday, May 7, 2014.
G-M Distribute on or around Monday, May 12, 2014.
N-Z, County Colleges, JIFs, Regional Authorities, Joint Meetings Distribute on or around Friday, May 16, 2014.
