6/21/2019 - Division III World Series Champs Cumberland County College Dukes Celebrated with Parade

The Cumberland County College Dukes were honored with a parade on June 19th for winning the Division III World Series Championship.  The Dukes officially brought home the title on May 29th after winning the 2019 NJCAA World Series tournament in Greeneville, Tennessee.  The Dukes ended the season with an impressive 47-5 record.  Head Baseball Coach Keith Gorman also received the the NJCAA Division III Coach of the Year award.

The Vineland Police, Fire Department and EMS, Millville Police and Fire Department, Cumberland County Sheriff's Department, and the Board of Chosen Freeholders all participated in the parade.

Following the parade, there was a ceremony to celebrate the Dukes.  Dr. Shelly Schneider, Dr. James Piccone, Freeholder Director Joe Derella, Trustee Chair Donna Perez, and Head Basebell Coach Keith Gorman all spoke at the celebration.
