5/4/2020 - Scam Alert from the Cumberland County Office of Consumer Protection
The Cumberland County Office of Consumer Protection has recently received complaints related to suspicious / fraudulent telephone calls targeting county residents. The caller identifies himself as an employee from the Cumberland County Tax Office. The caller states that due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, representatives from the county tax office will be going door to door collecting owed 2020 taxes.

Please be advised - No official representative from any Cumberland County Agency will ever go door to door requesting money.
