This week’s National Cybersecurity Awareness Month tip focuses on Phishing Scams! CISO Stan Field, Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-MacRae and Director Jim Matlock are here with Barbara Nedohon, Executive Director of the Office on Aging and Disabled and Jason Cossaboon, Deputy Director of Information Technology. Phishing is a fraudulent attempt to obtain sensitive information, such as usernames, passwords and credit card details, by disguising oneself as a trustworthy entity in an Email. Phishing Scams are highly prevalent amongst our elderly population. Email is the easiest form of communication to target potential victims. Don’t be fooled and “Don’t be too quick to click!”
