Cumberland County Department of Health Announces COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics for Children

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, NJ (November 8, 2021) – The CDC has recommended that children aged 5 and older can now receive an age-appropriate dose of the 2 dose Pfizer vaccine. The Cumberland County Department of Health will be holding a vaccination clinic for children ages 5-11 on Wednesday November 10th from 2-4pm. Appointments are required. To schedule your appointment, visit www.cumberlandcountynjvaccination.org. When scheduling your appointment, please take the time to schedule under the correct vaccine to ensure a timely vaccine appointment. Options for a pediatric dose will be listed on the website.

As we approach the holiday season where gatherings are more likely to take place, specifically indoors, we encourage families to get vaccinated to stay safe and healthy—including a flu vaccine. We continue to see the Delta variant impacting our communities—vaccination is an extremely effective tool to prevent illness, severe illness, and death.

For additional clinics, including those with pediatric appointments, please visit www.cumberlandcountynjvaccination.org throughout the months of November and December. More information can also be found on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/CCDOH or our website www.ccdoh.org.
