CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS

Story Time
Thursdays, December 1, 8, 15 & 22 at 10:30 a.m.
Children ages 5 and younger and a caregiver can join us as we share stories, songs, movement activities and a craft! Library story times are a fun way to help your child develop skills they will need to be ready to read. Registration is required.

Dungeons and Dragons Program for Ages 10-12
Saturday, December 5, 2-4 p.m.

Kids ages 10-12 are invited to play Dungeons and Dragons at the library! Come learn the basics of character creation, roleplaying, combat skills, and more of Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition. FURever As Friends HOWL-i-day Party!
Monday, December 5, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Children and teens of all ages are invited to come read to a fabulous furry friend! FURever as Friends therapy pet teams will be available to help kids practice their reading. Participants can choose a book from the library or bring one from home to read. Everyone that attends will receive a special treat. Registration is required. Family “Gingerbread” Craft
Saturday, December 17, 1 p.m.

Kids of all ages are invited to create their own “gingerbread house” using graham crackers, icing and candy provided by the library. Registration is required.

Family Yoga
Thursday, December 29, 10:30 a.m.

Kids (and their grownups!) are invited to learn gentle yoga poses, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques with certified Yoga teacher Ceci Brandt. Yoga has many benefits for children including enhancing their flexibility, strength, and coordination. It helps develop a sense of calm and present moment awareness while nurturing self-esteem and focus.

TEEN PROGRAMS

Teen Volunteer Meeting
Tuesday, December 6, 6-7 p.m.
Teens, 13-18

Teens ages 13-18 are invited to make a difference at the library while earning volunteer time. Members help to plan events for teens and kids, suggest books for the library, and much more. Teen Anime Night

Teens ages 13-18 are invited to view and discuss anime, share artwork, and help the library build its manga collection.

Teen Winter Party

Teens ages 13-18 are invited to celebrate winter with some games, snacks and a fun gift exchange! Teens are asked to bring a wrapped gift (under$5). Registration is required.

Teen Book Discussion

Teen “New Year, New Teen Space” Party!
Tuesday, January 3, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
