Cumberland County Secures Permitting for the South Avenue Culvert over Rocaps Run, Bridgeton, New Jersey

Bridgeton, NJ (August 15, 2023)- Cumberland County received the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) approval for the South Avenue Culvert over Rocaps Run in Bridgeton NJ. The culvert needed repair and became a hazard for anyone traveling through there. This project will ensure the safety of drivers and a better flow of local traffic.

The County is still waiting for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) permit approval remaining to allow the completion of bid documents for construction. The public will be informed at every step.
