Nestled on the front lawn of the Cumberland County Library, the vibrant Pinwheels for Prevention Garden stands out as a beacon of awareness during Child Abuse Prevention Month this April.
On the morning of April 10, 2024, Commissioner Director Joseph Sileo presented a Certificate of Recognition to Karen Horwitz on behalf of the Bridgeton Exchange Club for their dedication to raising awareness of child abuse and its profound consequences. In attendance were local children who lent their hands to construct this meaningful installation.
Among the attendees were Mae Woodley of the Greater Bridgeton Family Success Center, Janet Martinez of the Cumberland County Department of Health, Clerk to the Board of Commissioners Kim Codispoti, and Cumberland County Deputy Business Administrator Luz Vasquez. Together, we stand united in our commitment to building a safer, nurturing environment for all.
